Did you know that activity will help reduce stress?
One easy way to increase your activity daily is to login to the [ Choose My Day ] desktop application and start each day with a brain and body stretch.
Starting your day with a quick exercise will help you gain focus and breath into your day.
If you do 8 exercises a day, that’s 40 a week, and in excess of 2,000 each year! Just think of all the stress you will have stretched away! And if you want some additional support to BE Less Stressed, you can select it as a Motivator category.
Keep up the good work!

Do you often rush off to work without having breakfast and discover that by morning tea you’re already onto your third coffee? Does the afternoon suddenly roll around and you find yourself feeling tired and groggy so you hit the snack box?
If this sounds like you, then welcome to the busy working lifestyle!
Here are some quick and easy ways to improve your diet at work and as a result increase your energy levels:
1. Don’t skip breakfast! If you don’t feel like eating when you first get up then why not have something when you get to work. Maybe leave a box of cereal in your staff room and fix yourself a bowl when you get to work.
2. Throw some fruit in your bag! Having a piece of fruit rather than running for the vending machine is an easy way to reach your 5+ target a day
3. Get out of the office! Make a plan to go out of the office for a walk to clear your head and make this your time to eat.
4. Stock up your desk! Most of us tend to eat whatever is in front of us and once we get the munchies and food is fair game. Try stocking one of your drawers up with healthy options to fill those gaps – such as:
vegetable sticks, rice crackers, mixed nuts, dried fruit, packet soup, muesli bars, tins of tuna/salmon
5. Have a plan and stick to it! It’s easier said than done sometimes, but planning ahead will mean you don’t starve yourself and end up running to the snack box. Try going to the supermarket on a Sunday night and buying your food for the week for work.
How about committing to choosing at least one of these new habits? You could start by setting up this new habit as a Goal in your [ Choose My Day ], that way you can keep track of how well you’re doing.
Have a great week!

We all know the secret to successfully accomplishing goals is staying motivated, but isn’t it hard to stay motivated sometimes?
Have you ever imagined how great it would be if you got reminders every hour to keep you motivated? That’s why we’ve created our motivator section.
So what are Motivators, and how do they work?
Motivators are a series of reminders and tips relating to specific areas – such as reducing back pain, managing your nutrition and fitness or even increasing your knowledge. You choose which areas you’d like to receive motivation and we deliver your Motivators to you through the [ Choose My Day ] desktop application as often as you choose. The Motivators are easy to select just click here
